Subject: RE: information on Mary annHaynes From: Fred McCormick Date: 07 Sep 07 - 11:47 AM There is a biographical note on those Volumes of Voice of the People on which she appears. IE.TSCD 656/651/TSCD 654/TSCD 670. Written by Reg Hall from, if I remember correctly, information supplied by Mike Yates. There is also a brief note in the Mike Yates edited book, Traveller's Joy. EFDSS publications, where her maiden name is given as Milest, rather than Miles. Also check Here's Luck to a Man: Gypsy Songs & Music from South East England. Musical Traditions. MTCD 320. Again the information has been written by Mike. |
