The International Folk Alliance is an organization dedicated to pro-
moting and supporting folk and traditional music and dance. They are holding a regional conference near Portland, Oregon on Nov. 2-4, 2007.

This Western Regional (FAR-WEST) Conference will host many panel discussions, workshops, and showcases. Folk Alliance Regional West Ihope to meet other mudcats there!

The 20th annual International Folk Alliance Conference will be held
in Memphis, TN Feb 20-24, 2008 International Folk Alliance

The procedure to apply for includision in the showcases is
to submit a demo thru
Sonic Bids
, which is an on=line site being used more and more these days
as a way to audition for gigs, and promote performers.
