* A Pledge Of Allegiance For The 21st Century:-) "I pledge allegiance to the health of the United World of the Universe And to the Earth on which we stand, One Planet Born of Love, Indivisible, With rights, and responsibilities for all" (*to be read in addition to the traditional pledge to the flag)

PLEDGE PURPOSE: -A pledge of allegiance, and visualization for the earth, and all its peoples with emphasis on ecology. -To affirm planetary cooperation of all nations as one, for planetary health. -For proper humility in acknowledging our place in the universe as "one planet" a jewel amongst the vast universe. -To affirm the universal, and all inclusive, concept of God as Love.: "born of love" to coincide with "under God", in the traditional pledge.

THIS PLEDGE IS GROWING IN POPULARITY ON A GRASS ROOTS LEVEL Why an addition to the Traditional pledge? Because we are coming into the 21st Century, and we need to start affirming what we would like to be true for our planet. To affirm that we are guests here on this sacred planet entrusted to us by a higher being. To put all this into language children can understand.

Can we have a different one for those who would not wish to pledge to the American Flag (and those who would not wish to pledge to the English flag, etc)?
