Subject: Looking for Smuggler's Song recording From: GUEST,enmalkm Date: 18 Jul 19 - 03:31 PM Hi, all! I'm trying to track down a specific recording of Kipling's Smuggler's Song that I heard years ago on Mike Harding's BBC show (or maybe some other BBC folk show.) It's got a woman singing and is backed by a double bass playing driving repeated bowed eighth notes. I had thought it was Miranda Sykes, but can't find any listing in her discography. Ring any bells? |
