I've tried several times to reach someone to retrieve my password and have not received a response so am trying this tack. I am related to a member from here with the last name Tawney. We are related through my Great-Great-Grandfather Abraham Tawney who served with the Indiana Volunteers in the Civil War. I have several letters he wrote from prison where he spent some time as a POW. If there is any way to let him know I have these, or get my password, (I've sent numerous emails to Joe) I'd appreciate it or have the Tawneys contact me.

You emailed me for your password in February 2017, and I responded the same day - that's the only email I've ever received from you. And I just sent you your password now in response to this thread. Oh - I see now that you have emailed me several times yesterday and today, and the emails ended up in my junk mail. Sorry about that - I check junk mail only about once a week.

If you contact me privately, I can forward an email for you to Mr. Tawney at the address I have on file. But he hadn't posted here for over ten years, so his contact information may have changed. It is unlikely that he will receive a Mudcat personal message, because he hasn't been active here.
