‘A YORKSHIRE SONGSTER’ BOOK PROMOTION
The promotion for Steve Gardham’s new book ‘A Yorkshire Songster’ is going ahead at the ‘Shakespeare’ pub, 146-148 Gibraltar St, Sheffield S3 8UB on April 8th. We'll start at 7.30 pm and finish about 10.30 pm, which is reasonably civilised timing.
The book is an anthology of traditional folk songs from the county, many gleaned from the ‘Hudleston collection’ and others by Steve Gardham himself.
Joining us on April 8th is Steve Gardham, Bryony Griffith and Alice Jones, Fay Hield, Mossy Christian, Megan Wisdom, Will and Pip Noble, and will be MC’d by Nick Dow.

Publisher Clive Boutle will be selling books from the whole ‘Marrowbones’ series, and as ever, with every sale, I will send you the tunes in MP3 if you are not able to read music.
Looking forward to seeing you.
kind regards
Nick

Sounds good; I'll try to make it. Is it just a walk-in event Nick?
