Hi folks,

I've heard this song several times -- enough to know I like it. Don't know the title, but believe it is some sort of prayer by a crippled boy? The chorus I heard recently went something like this:

Now I lay me down to rest, Please God, please grant me happiness. __________________(didn't catch this line) So I can come and play with you.

Anybody out there now the title or words? Thanks much for any help you can give me.

Lee

I think the song/lyrics you are looking for is

Willie Roy, the crippled boy, written by Doc Williams, and sung by Roy Acuff.

Hope this helps.

Tom
