Help: copyright (Happy and you know it)

Does anyone know if the song, "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands" is in the public domaine. If you think it is, how do you know it? for example, did you discover that it is more than 75 or 90 years old? Or?

The best place I can think of to look this up online is the ASCAP and BMI websites.

ASCAP is at: http://www.ascap.com/ace

BMI is at: http://www.bmi.com/

I searched ASCAP for the phrase "If you're happy and you know it" and came up empty-handed. But BMI shows the copyright holder as a one Maryann K Harman. Or Alvin D Fruga. Or one of several others. Appears many have registered this song title with BMI. I suggest you write them and ask. Good luck!
