Subject: Song I heard in a bar once and wont leave me alone From: Bo Vandenberg Date: 07 Jan 97 - 01:32 AM I heard this country tune in a bar once. It's a funny tune about a lazy no-account hillbilly husband who makes his wife do everything and can't understand why she is leaving him. Any help with the words and chord structure and how to attribute it would be much appreciated. Some of the lines: The chorus I think? Put another log on the fire! Boil me up some bacon and some beans Go upstairs and wash the kitchen table, Then come and tell me why you're leavin' me. |
