From my nyckelharpa list i just learned of the daeth of an L.A. area

Ethan was a fine hurdy gurdy player and teacher as well. If you lived in LA, you may have seen him busking, which he loved to do. He was fascinated by drone music, which lead him to the nyckelharpa during the last five or so years.He has several recordings, including "The Ancient Music of Christmas", one of my personal favorites.
