Saw a great program last night on the BET-Jazz channel, two hours of blues history with a lot of video clips I'd never see before. The program was part of a series called Masters of American Music but I think the series was originally produced in the UK around ten years ago and called The History of Jazz. Did others catch this program? I assume it's aired before.

I tried to get details from the BET Web site but they don't seem to carry detailed content about their programming. I searched the Web and came up with a DVD called Bluesland. Is this the same program? The length is about right when you add commercials. If this is the one, any blues fan will want to see this.

The Story of Jazz (Masters of American Music). 90 minute DVD, title segment of a six-part series.

I believe that it is out of print.
