A great wee festival taking place this coming weekend on Hornby Island [off Vancouver Island B.C.] All acoustic. Workshops-fiddle, bodhran, whistle, probably others [song-writing, folkdance--] Starts Friday 23rd witha song-and-instrumental circle, workshops and sessions Saturday, evening concert[admission fee--not expensive.]
In case you aren't lucky enough to be dragged home by one of the local families, bring a tent or a camper. Good food available at the main venue. And Hornby has its charm too.If anyone is keen for more info, e-mail organiser June Cannon
