I'm looking for a list of English Folk songs in the Public Domain. Thinking of recording some covers/traditional songs... Who can help?

Hi, Chris - that's a bit too broad a request. You're talking tens of thousands of songs. Listen to CD's of traditional music - maybe narrow it down by picking a style you like, and then start learning songs that fit your tastes and talents. Work on those songs until you've made them your own. Then sing them for others, and see how they like them. Then, and only then, are you ready to start making recordings.
