After a bit of a struggle there will be the first of hopefully monthly sessions at the Alexandra Hotel in Sheffield on Tuesday 28th June about 9ish.   The Alexander Hotel is Sheffield's new Irish Centre and is situated at the bottom of the market area opposite the Bristol hotel. No real ale but lots and lots of Guinness ( provided we didn't drink it all at the wedding reception on Saturday).

Will be tunes (mainly Irish etc) with the odd song. So far definately have one piper and a concetina player so the more the merrier.

Another new (3 months old)Sheffield session happens on the third monday of the month at the Red House, Solly Street, 8.30pm. We play old time tunes and maybe sing a few songs. Fiddles, 5-string banjos, guitars, mandolins, maybe a bass, preferably no percussion or squeezeboxes
