I've just come across a really useful chord finder which also lets you hear the selected chord.
Clever stuff!! and very useful for any beginners.
There is another, more advanced option on the same site.

Pretty good, from a quick scan.

Another very good freeware program that can be downloaded, so you don't have to be online to use is called "Nut Chords 32". One possible download site is:
