HOWDENJONES SPRING TOUR 2007

Acoustic trio Howdenjones launch their 2007 spring tour on Saturday February 24 in Ansty near Coventry.

Howdenjones have been on the music scene since 1998 but 2007 sees them start the touring year with a spring in their step.

There is new vitality in the old favourites beloved of audiences in the acoustic scene and rural touring circuits which have seen the band perform in recent years. And the band is taking time out from hothousing new material to go on tour with three new rural areas including Lancashire, Lincolnshire and the three counties down as far as Worcester and Warwick.

As usual the threesome – Kate Howden, Paul Jones and Sarah Cheffins – will be demonstrating their love of live performance with fine harmonies, strong song-writing skills and their talents on guitar, mandolin, fiddle, bodhran, viola and Swedish nyckelharpa.
