Larry, I just got the tape! Thank you, wonderful, wonderful music, some of my favourites and your songs were just incredible, esp. Yvette's Song.

Anyone hwo has a chance should spend the evening with these folks!

Thanks, again,

See kat! I told him the same thing! I love the bounce that Yvette's song has. I'll have to learn how to play it myself!

Ditto on "Yvette's Song". Nicely written, nicely sung.

I think I might have a few problems about getting along, but I wish I could.

Great tape - and the one I can't get out of my head is Amadou. (Well actually it's a question of getting into my head, so I can sing it myself.)

Now I want to hear him singing THE NIGHT BEFORE LARRY WAS STRETCHED.

Kevin

The night before! One of my favorities! I think I will suggest it to the others, - to get a bit of fat for ourselves, eh? Of course, being Rom on my mums side, I think it is a bit bad luck to sing about me being hanged, but then again, a man thats fit for hanging, will never drown,
All the best, and we will sing a few for absent friends!
Larry

I wish you much luck Larry. I'm sure Sorcha Dorcha will be the talk of the town. Mind you that is one big town.
I would love to be there but it is probably best I do not go to New York. I would end up shopping and there would be no stopping me.

Thanks for letting us know.
Does the horsey get to go too?

Bonnie

Horses are great on the rhythym, and it's a lie that they can't sing.

I like to think that, if you sing about troubles, it can maybe keep them off. It's the ones you don't pay attention to that are likely to get you...Like the bad fairy that didn't get invited to the christening.

"Helter skelter, hang sorrow, care'll kill a cat, uptails all, and a louse for the hangman" - that Ben Jonson from Every Man in His Humour.

Have a Great Time on Friday, Larry. And everybody.

A Lorcan,

I was going to wish you well on Friday, but now I'm not so sure, seeing's how I didn't see any bloody tape showing up in my mailbox of late . . . Oh what the hell, break a leg anyway, ya bugga -- but remember, no eating of the corned beef and cabbage this year without a dispensation, a mhic-o! *BG*

It does seem there are almost NO New York City mudcats! Well, thanks for all the kind words about the band, and we will have to find someone with a better liver than mine to drink one for each of our missing friends.

I have some concern that one of the biggest cities in the world has the fewest mudcats! Any chance of some of you all moving to New York? It is lonely out here!

Larry when I think of New York, I do not really think of Folk Music. I think of Tiffany's, Sax Fifth Avenue and the The Ritz. All those thoughts just get me in trouble.

I know the feeling. We're the fifth largest city in the country, and I think there's 4 Mudcatters from Arizona. And you'd be surprised how many sessions we have in Phoenix alone.

Well Pop,
I have gotten a new mike for me, so Brid is moved up to a better mike and WE CAN HEAR HER! She does a fearce Two Swans - the Loreana McKennitt version. At our concert for the banquet last week, I did pass on the Sing OUT louise, line, and she did!
We are also now doing Dick Turpin (no need to restate the joke, Pop,).
All the best for St. Pats!
Larry...
