(hopefully we won't NEED such a beast, but it'd be good to not be caught without one...)

I don't think Mudcat is in danger of closing, in fact some of what I have read leads me to think that it might actually be going through a rebirth - I hope so.

As for places for the Annexe and Susan's prayer forum, please why not take them for what they are - oppertunities to extend a community without getting in the way of others.

Maybe one day, Max may even consider giving them "Mudcat Affiliation" or something...

There is a lot of potential both in this forum and amongsts ourselves - isn't it now time how to work out how to do the best we can with Max's parameters for this forum, etc.?

To clarify, I don't have a prayer forum.

I moderate a section of Jon's Annexe that is seldom used, and I coordinate a prayer chain by mail that is quite active-- which is described in full in a FAQ at Jon's Annexe. I also moderate a separate discussion forum for people engaged in a particular sort of music ministry, also described here at Mudcat and discussed at Jon's Annexe.
