Don't sing any songs about seamen - ever since Pugwash they've been very sensitive on the subject in that part of Middlesex!

Looking forward to performing, tonight, some old favourites of ours (new to Staines of course) and, if we have the bottle, a just-learned version of one of our best-loved traditional songs.

Guru - they got away with it again , despite support from Breezy and myself (AND Staines local singers !) Despite the warmth it was a cracking evening , which is what we expected

Thanks for the tune on the whistle, was it an irish jig or reel? sounded like rag time in parts!!

Mo an ref did very well and looked very professional.

The way they had trained that giant white moth to fly in during their encore was remarkable.

a well balanced entertaining and varied programme

Its a nice friendly club at Staines at the three Tuns on a Monday evening and only £1.50 for singers too

To explain, Tom who is a regular at the St Albans Windward and Spotlight clubs,had recently undergone heart surgery and hasnt got out much lately but is making a great recovery and has fronted a mic already and cant wait to perform again!

P A, I'ld rather call it 'good value' if you can get your head around that concept?
