Hi Folks.
A small thread this one.

For the first time ever my work has asked me to submit my 2010 annual leave dates by the 10th January 2010. which is all very well but because I base my leave around folk events that go on through out the year more or less it makes this a right par-lava
and a pain in the Arse .
                                          
                            Does anyone know the following dates
                                          for the events below.

                   PIGS EAR, KENTISH HORSE FOLK WEEKEND. 2010
                   ROCHESTER SWEEPS WEEKEND. 2010
                   KNOCKHOLT (Folkmob) JUNE AND SEPTEMBER DATES.

I have a vague idea to these dates from previous years but I must be 100% right before I submit them or I could loose out;.
                                                   
                                                   I ALSO NEED
Any planned weekend events at the Good Intent Rochester for 2010.
and any planned events for 2010 at the Crown Otford.

Well that the Sweeps and Pigs Ear dates booked thanks Poxicat.

The June Knockers is usually the nearest weekend to the Summer Soltice and I am sure that wont change but the September Knockers has changed dates in the past so I need confirmation of them both to be sure. Thanks again,

URGENT Pete note that those dates and link for Pig's Ear are for the 2009 event I believe that 2010 is Fri 4th June - Mon 7th June. It seems to have disappeared from the Pig's Ear sie & Myspace.

However checking Jez Lowes gig list it says that he is playing at the folk ale Markbeech on 4th June 2010.

Knockholt is always the weekend closest to the summer Solstice and 2nd weekend in september - but you would have to check with the godz on mount olympus, Eltham for confirmation

Mayday 2010 falls on Saturday!

Hi there, Rochester Sweeps is 1st 2nd and 3rd May, probably stuff going on in the evening of Friday 30th.
The Good Intent will be following the normal format, organised Singarounds inside with Hosts Simon Barlow and John Barden, impromptu chill out in the garden, boards will be down for dancing for those that aren't too weary!

Good Intent folk things are happening on the following dates
June 26th/27th Boards & Ale Down, voices up from 1.00pm both days
Hosts Simon Barlow & John Barden

September 25th/26th joint birthday celebrations. Host Simon will be 60 Dal the Landlord will be 40! Same format as above.

December 18th/19th to see Christmas in.

Pete, as far as I know you can't do bar stewarding at Sidmouth. You can do the campsite, concerts/workshops or collecting. Plus lots of other things. Wait until the website is updated - usually end of Jan - and print off a form.

My heads spinning this morning

I have all the correct dates now thank you all very much I am back at work New Years Day.
so I will book em then hopefully if I get in 1st there will be no clashing with others who want the same time off so that is why this thread is important and the correct dates are vital.

I never know what is going on date wise normally and just keep a eye open for the Mud-cat threads to pop up and book the time off accordingly.

Now I must know what i am doing next year, this year?

Which I am happy to say do NOT include my 62nd birthday.
