Shameless plug

Llantrisant Folk Club are having a session (singers and musicians) at the Boar's head, Tyla Garw, Pontyclun in the glorious county of Rhondda-Cynon-Taf, in the evening of 30 October. Mainly cos we want to, but it's also my birthday bash.

It's just off the A473, follow signs for Trecastell and Tyla Garw from Spar depot roundabout. Over the level crossing and right at the mini roundabout.

No, Roger, we just kept our heads down, and they didn't notice us. After 12 years we'll claim squatters' rights.

Or it could be that the hole with the mint is a black hole. It's affecting the coast of Herefordshire and Shropshire as we write. Which is fine if it stops there, it means the good people of Birmingham have got the seaside practically on their doorstep.

I'm here, all full of life! My greatest regret is that I can't play the squeezebox, though, on account of my bad arm - but I have reinvented myself as the one-armed bodhran player! I can't live down those jokes about drummers that I used to tell... Question - what is a difference between a drummer and a drum machine? Answer - with a drum machine, you only have to punch the instructions in ONCE.
