Shameless plugging, I know, but....I'm doing an All Mbo Hearme session on Wednesday night at 9:00pm EST, after the radio show. I'll be singing my own stuff, and some of my personal favorites. Requests from the Mudcat Songbook and elsewhere are encouraged! Think you can handle 2 Hearme's in one week? Think you can handle this much Mbo? Then be there or be squay-uh! See you there!

Sorcha, there are a couple of requirements for Hearme, one of which is there is no Mac support.

Assuming you are a PC user, I would suggest that you (or anybody else) tries to enter the room before the event especiailly as a (very) small down load is required.

Sure. Under "options" you can change your name from "guest #" whatever--to a more recognizable name.

Hi Sorcha, when you came in you showed up as GuestXXX which is normal for anybody entering most hearme sites for the first visit. It is not compulsory but it would be nice if you identified yourself. Your name will be the one in right click on it and you have the oppertinity to change it. Whatever you change it to will remain until you change it again.

Please get a mike sometime but at the bottom of the hearme window it says "text chat" clicking on that will open another window and you can still join in conversation by typing in there.

The banner on the opening page is something I used more for people to email me if they have problems than anything else but you caught it on a rare ocasion that I was available for chat.

Look at the back of your computer. You sound board will have two or three, maybe four holes for miniplugs. One should be marked for microphone or "mic".

The sound card, in case it's not obvious, is the one the speaker wires are connected to.

Mmario, If you get in there, could ya do me a favor? Due to sitting all day I now have watermelon sized ankles. I'm going to try to get into Mbo's HearMe and then crank up the volunme and go into the next room where I can hear but not see the screen. Would you let people know I am not at the keyboard if they address me in the HearMe? Thanks!! PS-- Hardiman is xcited about maps!!
