Regrettably, I have to stop my contribution to Thoughts for the Day for the next week and a bit due to an overbooked life. I will contribute again starting in two weeks, and hope to check in from day to day in the meantime. Keep the good thoughts coming.

Alas, Poor Peter, he did try to raise the tone around here (unlike some of us who persist in lowering it) though I personally prefer his parodies to his deep thoughts, who could fill his shoes? Come back soon,mate.
