My Great Grandma used to mutter about it here and there when we were kids. Then, I wanted to believe it cause it seemed cool. It gave me some kind of internal importance. But I always had my doubts that it was true, not exactly sure Grammy had her wits. But, about 10 years ago an ambitious uncle of mine traced our whole side, my fathers side, of the family back to who knows when. Apparently he found our connection to Uncle Francis. My only question is… where's my inheritance?

An aged relative of mine was convinced she was descended from Pocohantas.

I have three step-cousins and a cousin who ARE descended from Pocahontas. I don't remember which of her sons they are descended from - but they do have the lineage traced all the way back.
