I had successful total hip replacement surgery Monday, March 30. This surgery was more successful than the previous one, about 5 five years ago. I'm now mending, and FINALLY ... off that damned morphine!" I had a harder time with the drugs than the surgery.

Alas, we lost John Ross this week. I posted a link to the photos I have at Mudcat because he is in one of them. And so is Deckman, if you'll scroll down a few photos. At the time he wasn't quite up to going on that ferry ride with us--because he'd just had his hip replaced. :-/

Yes, I'm doing just fine. This is almost two weeks now since surgery and I'm mending well. The usual aches and pains, but what the hell, ain't that just liike life.

Now then, let's close this silly thread. I've never liked the self focusing that goes with surgeries. Let's talk about things much more important than me. It's good to be back. Thanks everyone, Bob
