Subject: Humerous juxtapositions From: paddymac Date: 04 Dec 00 - 10:02 PM Maybe I'm just in one of those weird moods tonight where i see humor in the strangest places, but as I was scrolling down the list of threads, I noticed "Oscar Wilde" was followed immediately by "20 naked Pentacostals". Reflecting briefly on the proclivity that caused his jailing, I just started chuckling. Has anybody else encountered such silliness? |

Subject: RE: BS: Humerous juxtapositions From: CarolC Date: 04 Dec 00 - 10:23 PM Kind of elegant, aint it? I've noticed that kind of thing once or twice around here. |

Subject: RE: BS: Humerous juxtapositions From: Susan A-R Date: 04 Dec 00 - 10:37 PM Those pentacostals are back!! Oh, and the thread name game is well worth hunting up. |

Subject: RE: BS: Humerous juxtapositions From: Susan A-R Date: 04 Dec 00 - 10:41 PM Hmmm, 20 naked pentacostas nest to and who is our next president. I kinda like that one too. |

Subject: RE: BS: Humerous juxtapositions From: paddymac Date: 05 Dec 00 - 08:51 AM I've enjoyed the TNG threads, but that wasn't quite what I had in mind here. I was thinking of threads that just happened to actually appear back-to-back on the list at any given moment. |
|
Subject: RE: BS: Humerous juxtapositions From: paddymac Date: 05 Dec 00 - 08:57 AM There's another pair on the list right now: "Now This is Scary" and "Liberal Media". (no political message here; it's just the juxtaposition that caught my eye) |
|
Subject: RE: BS: Humerous juxtapositions From: katlaughing Date: 05 Dec 00 - 09:25 AM I think that is what the original TNG was supposed to be, too, actual chance pairings, we just strayed from the Path.**BG** |
