I agree. Pedantic = correct.

I got 10 right off the bat. Speaking of which, aren't references to cricket illegal in clue-giving?

It is a shame, but the common perception of the answer to number 9 would not give a film title.

No fair slipping in a cricket question...I know diddly squat about cricket in spite of numerous attempts to teach me....got the rest though, I think.

Jeri: Which 10? and would you object to questions about US football, or US baseball ? (and, Yes! there is a British form of baseball, mainly restricted to Cardiff(Wales) and the Liverpool area.)

Morticia, if you've really got 19/20 then well done, (and no Addams Family question!) The Cricket question has a musical connection,...with a zither!

1,2,4,5,7,9,13,15,19,20

I wouldn't have a problem with American football or baseball, but folks elsewhere might.

I'd spend more time on this, but I have to go play music now...

Number 14 may be misleading, the song pre-dates Glen Miller, having also been sung by Al Jolson!
Apolgies, and thanks to Walrus (Goo goo ga joob!)

19/20 on the first run through. The Glenn Miller song is holding me up even with the Al Jolson clue. Still worrying away at it, though!

For those of you having problems with the Miller/Jolson song, I'm sure the answer will "pop" into your head soon and you'll be on a real "roll" then.

Hey Bullfrog,
Calm down, sport.
'Spaw's clue *was* truely painful - even on this side of the pond (and I've only ever read of the items he referred to) but, on reflection, don't you think "...why don't you just push off man!..." was over reacting a bit?

Presumably we have now overdone the clues for No 14!
