This concert is scheduled to make access easier for our friends in the British Isles. Grab will start at 5:00 PM Mudcat time. We will continue using the Paltalk concert room for now, Password marmot. Noreen, I will PM you the admin code so that you can open the room, as I'll be at work.

Just got a message from Paltalk that all locked rooms are from now limited to 10 people unless they are commercial.
Hmmm... first come, first served?
Transfer concert to an open room?

I don't know, Noreen. I'd had it in mind to try an open room anyway, this may be the right time to do it. I'll see if I can set one up in the morning.

Well, I just tried to modify the concert room to not be locked. I don't think I was successful, nor was I able to delete it, I'm not sure why. Noreen, you could probably create a room for the purpose.....maybe call it the Mudcatorium. I'll try again in the morning, just to see what happens. Watch this space.

I have been unsuccessful to date in either opening a new room or modifying the current one. I'm out of time to work on it, too. Hopefully someone can come up with an idea and let everyone know what will happen. Good luck.

Hmm. I've got a room (unlocked) which I've used once or twice, with a suitably Mudcatty name. We could use that - I'll be set up about ten to, hopefully. Whoever's doing the admin (is it you, Noreen? thanks!), I'll give you the password when you arrive so you can do wizardly stuff while I've got my hands full of guitar.

If it'd be more convenient for catters leaving work at 5, I could postpone the start by 5-10 minutes. Any comments?

Use an unlocked room.... give Grab the admin.. and mute all mics....... no one else will be able to talk

or if it is mudcatters leave the mics unmuted only mute them if you get people who don't know how to behave in a concert....

I won't be there.. 7 am in Oz...... sorry!!!!

you need to add me to your pal list "jiggie_1"
admin code 2222

to open it choose groups then "admin"
then "open or join group as admin"
group owner = jiggie_1
admin code= 2222

that will get you in

Bigchuck all you have to do is remove the password.... go to "admin" then "set up / maintain own group" go down the list to where it says "lockword" and leave that blank... then hit modify at the bottom of the screen..... your room should now be open....

Right folks, Grab's concert tonight at 5pm Mudcat time (10pm UK time) will be in the Mudcat concert room (unlocked, so you don't need a password).

I'll open the room and admin as arranged, but would be grateful for a co-admin in case of problems.

it won't do it if you have the room open... you need to close the room and reopen it after you have made the changes for them to take effect.....

glad you used the new room though... feel free to use it anytime......
