Subject: Movie list: by the numbers From: Peter Kasin Date: 29 Nov 01 - 04:11 AM Pure BS here, but couldn't resist posting this. Being a film buff, during a rainy night a couple of days ago I started making a list of movies that have numbers in their titles, and compiled a list starting from zero on up - any film I could remember that would fit. Many are well-known and a few are pretty obscure. So here's some holiday useless fun. Feel free to add to it (but try to avoid adding more films to a number that's been done - that's the challenge). -chanteyranger The Square Root Of Zero / One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest / Two For The Road / The Three Musketeers / Four Weddings And A Funeral / Five Easy Pieces / Six Degrees Of Separation / Seven Years In Tibet / The 7 1/2 Percent Solution / Eight Men Out / Fellini's 8 1/2 / Nine To Five / "10" / Oceans Eleven / 12 Angry Men / Thirteen Days / 14 up / The Fifteen Streets / Sixteen Candles / Stalag 17 / 18 Fatal Strikes / I Was Nineteen / 20 Dates / 21 up / 28 Days / 30 Seconds Over Tokyo / 32 Short Films About Glenn Gould / The Naked Gun 33 1/3 / Miracle On 34th Street / 35 up / The 39 Steps / North Dallas Forty / Summer Of '42 / The 47 Ronin / 48 Hours / Attack Of The 50-Foot Woman / Gone In 60 Seconds / Around The World In 80 Days / 101 Dalmations / 102 Dalmations / The 400 Blows / Fahrenheit 451 / A Thousand Clowns / 1900 / 1941 / 1984 / 2001 / 2010 / The 5.000 Fingers Of Dr. T / 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea / If I Had A Million |

Subject: RE: BS: Movie list: by the numbers From: RangerSteve Date: 29 Nov 01 - 07:13 PM Charlton Heston did a deservedly forgotten movie called "number one". He redeemed himself as Richelieu in the 3 Musketeers (already mentioned) and the Four Musketeers. I believe there was a WC Fields movie called "Million Dollar Legs". This is probably unfair, but any full length film with the Three Stooges always had their name in the title, eg: The Three Stooges meet Hercules. Does "Born on the Fourth of July" count? |
