Subject: Six Bells 2nite? From: GUEST,Dáithí Date: 26 Jun 07 - 07:10 AM Well, here I am in rainsodden Lincoln wondering whether, on acvcount of the flooding, I'll be able to drive up to Barrow for tonight's fun. Any local stalwarts enlighten me as to the state of roads locally? I'll be driving up the A15 then off just before the bridge exit to cut across country. Oh, did I mention that I've heard the Raving Maes will be attending? "Who they?", you sneer. Only the sexiest morris team ever to rattle a stick. All female and dressed in black corsetry of an enticing and coquettish nature, they're sure to entertain.... Hope to see you there, Lawry and friends! D |

Subject: RE: Six Bells 2nite? From: Cod Fiddler Date: 26 Jun 07 - 08:08 AM I drove up the A15 from Lincoln this morning. There were only two flooded places, which presented no danger, provided you don't hit them at speed (take care in the dark). The road from the A15 to Barrow (B1206) is closed due to a big flood in the dingly dell where the road bends tightly right then left. To avoid this, go up to the final exit before the bridge and go through Barton on the A1077. See you later, Richard. |
