Subject: Tech: LR Baggs M1 pick-up From: Continuity Jones Date: 24 Jul 11 - 08:53 AM Has anyone any experience of LR Baggs M1 pick-ups? I currently use Fishman's and are very happy with them, but I have a new L00 shaped steel string on the way and am considering trying a LR Baggs M1. |

Only problem is that it won't fit in guitars with smaller sound holes. Martins and Taylors are fine but I had problems with Blueridge and Guild guitars. You can disconnect (unplug) the cable from the endpin jack from the pickup so you could use the pickup in any guitar with an endpin jack and cable with an 1/8 inch, right-angle, stereo tip. The pole pieces are adjustable to balance the output from string to string to get the best sound. I guess you could say I like it. |
