Subject: '20 Feet from Stardom'.. Must See... From: Bobert Date: 23 Jul 13 - 08:56 PM For anyone coming 7up in the 50s, 60s ot 70's "20 Feet from Stardom" is a must see movie... It is a documentary directed by Morgan Neville and it is all about the back-up singers that we all know well, though we might not know it... These women, "the colored girls" are on display big time in this documentary... Darlene Love, Judith Hill, Mary Clayton, Lisa Fischer, Tata Vega... We know the voices and the hooks... We have sung the hooks... Go see this movie!!! B~ |
