A version published in 1909, with words by William Lee and music by A. Baldwin Sloane, was posted here. It was recorded by Billy Murray. A version recorded by Sheb Wooley (aka Ben Colder) and attributed to Arthur Smith was posted here. Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith recorded it in 1948. Smith also recorded a sequel called MORE FOOLISH QUESTIONS in 1956. |
