I am amazed I can't find a Mudcat thread on "The Wheels on the Bus". In the light of this story....

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/may/22/nigel-farage-shelters-on-campaign-bus-to-avoid-milkshake-attack

...I thought there ought to be a couple more verses like

The milkshakes round the bus go splat, splat, splat...

The Nigel on the bus goes duck, duck, duck....

    THE WHEELS ON THE BUS

Oh, the wheels on the bus go round and round,
    Round and round, round and round;
The wheels on the bus go round and round,
    All over town

    2. The driver on the bus says, "Move on back."
    3. The wipers on the bus go swish, swish, swish.
    4. The lights on the bus go blink, blink, blink.
    5. The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep

We learned the last line as: "All through the town."

    Other verses I've heard:
The people on the bus go up and down.
The babies on the bus go wah, wah, wah! / Mommies on the bus go shh! shh! shh!

I don't know what you'd call the name of this very familiar tune. It's almost the tune of "Here We Go 'Round the Mulberry Bush,' but that's not it.

See Back of the Bus Songs for another version, and other bus songs.

Anybody else notice that Farage has Michael Bolton driving his bus. Seriously though, just reading the line, Police liaison officers in Rochester also spoke to two men shouting anti-Farage slogans at the bus while holding iced lattes, sets my heart aflutter. Gotta love the Brits.
