He has published books of his humo[u]r, such as The Queen of All the Dustballs. I'm not Canadian, so Bill Richardson's voice is not part of the soundtrack of my life. But it seems that, in Canada, Bill Richardson is a sort of national treasure. Mudcats in or near Canada, is there truth in the preceding? Here he is -- both audio file, and print -- talking about dishwashing as a treatment for depression. |

Which is a healthy chunk of the population, despite what critics of our National broadcaster may say. Speaking personally, my partner and I have enjoyed his humour and thoughtful eloquence for many years (though my partner wishes me to say that he is a tier below that occupied by the late Stuart Mclean.) |
