Hi Everyone
Has anyone had any success with downloading an app for Android that can recognise and name tunes you play into it.
I have lots of traditional folk/Irish music in my head that I play on my mandolin but I haven't a clue what the name of the tunes are.
Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I use SoundHound to identify particular songs broadcast online, TV, etc., but I think it only does commercial recordings.

On a whim I looked in Google and came up with Song stuck in your head? Just hum to search. That blog post came out late in 2020.

This goes back 3 years - ancient in Internet time, but who knows - 5 surefire ways to find the name of that song. This doesn't list just apps, it has you mining Google. (Chances are a lot of your lyric search results will land here on Mudcat - win/win!)
