This Saturday evening on BBC RADIO 2 ( Sat 24 Jun, 20:00 - 21:00 - UK time - 60 mins ), there will be an "an appreciation of the American singer Eva Cassidy, whose recordings have been discovered in the years following her early death, featuring tributes from her parents, friends and colleagues."

If you haven't heard her before, listen in.. it may not all be folk, or even folky, but trust me... well worth listening.

Some of BBC Radio2 gets webcast, but I haven't been able to find out if this will be... If it is, you can listen on this page.

I can verify she has/had a wonderful voice...any fan of Terry Wogan listens to lots of Eva Cassidy
