Looking for song circles/folk clubs/societies/places to play/open mics/paid gigs

NorthEastern PA preferred but will make travel an option if there is a real chance of being able to play and swap and jam...

I am a singer/songwriter/poet/storyteller

I play:

Guitar Harmonica Mandolin Percussion lil bi 'o banjer very new at dulcimer

and probably others I have not thought to mention.

Anyone interested in helping me find some gigs and places to jam/swap/hang out, let me know.

P.S. I am not leaving the ministry (for those who will ask) I have just reconciled myself to the fact that I NEED to get out and play and write and express myself in those ways that God blessed me with so long ago.

If you put circle in the filter on the thread page, set the age to 2 years, and then hit refresh, you'll find a lot of threads on song circles.

I don't know about Pa. I think it was Pa in the Polish novel who went to the attic to look after his pigeons. We forgot him.

Contact Godfry Daniels in Bethlem. They do lots of concerts with local talent as well as open mike nites.
