Subject: 'Balls,' said the Queen From: Bennet Zurofsky Date: 31 Aug 01 - 04:29 PM Too many years ago I heard a recitation which began with the lines: "Balls," said the Queen/ "If I had them I'd be King." I remember laughing too much at the remainder to remember any of it, but I think it went on make a variety of feminist and anti-authoritarian points couched in a mock medieval setting. Can anyone help me out with the rest of this? |
