As a new(ish) user I am still learning, but certainly find this software easy to use and very versatile for notating, transposing or printing music. I note that a new version is now available at no additional cost to registered users. Existing registration data will fire up the new version without any other heroics required.

The following is an extract of a reply I received from their support desk:

You can download from our web site at http://www.ntworthy.com/composer/dloadnwc.htm. Separate versions now exist for Win 3.1 and Win 95 users.

New features in this version include: - Grace notes - User selectable text fonts - High performance native 32-bit playback on Windows 95 - Toolbar Customization - Automatic save/recovery mechanism in the editor - Print preview directly from Page Setup - Zoom in or out in Print Preview - Standardized print mechanism - Up and down stem on a note - Lyrics aligned to top of staff
