I realize this is out in left field but perhaps somebody here can point me in the right direction. I once had a Charlie Haden (jazz bass player) cd which focused on his early career with the family band playing 'old time' music on the radio. It had several very long solos, one of which was based on 'Old Joe Clark'. It was stolen some years ago and I'd really like to find a new copy. The Charlie Haden web site doesn't respond and I can't locate it in their discography. Any suggestions, folks?

Would that be Ramblin' with Ornette Coleman - 1959?

I wish I knew. Ramblin' isn't listed in the Coleman or Haden discographies I've just checked. Given Coleman's style, it doesn't seem compatible with what I remember. Although Coleman can play whatever he wants and make it sound right.

Since I don't know and haven't been able to find out, I'm hoping for someone who does know.
