Subject: OBIT: Mike Wilson (Uk) From: Nemesis Date: 04 Jun 02 - 10:33 AM I don't know whether many people would have known Mike Wilson last residing in Shoreham, Sussex? Mike was a bogglingly great Baroque Blues guitarist and songwriter who due to domestic circumstances wasn't able to get out there in the last 10 years or so to capitalise on the reputation he'd started to acquire. Due to (IMO) the uselessnes of the NHS to get to grips with diagnosing Cancer of the Pancreas he tragically passed away on Friday. This is an appalling tragedy for his family, a great sadness for his friends and admirers, and a sad loss of an extraordinary musician. RIP Mike. xx |
