Pipe all hands and a-way we go.
three long cheers for our cap-tains share
and one for the pow-der monk-ey Joe.

But pw-der mon-keyy Joe o'er-heard the cowards' wick-ed plot
And with some grog con-triv'd to soak
their pow-der and their shot;
He saved our cap-tain's life, he did, and
reap'd his pluck's re-ward
For soon they made him sec-ond_mate and
now he wears a sword
