This is to let all who were at Grove (White Horse Festival) and Towersey and kindly contributed to the collection that was raised in memory of Fliss Henderson that a total of £280.00 was raised. We have sent a cheque for the same to the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshaire Air Ambulance as requested by the Family. We requested that an acknowledgment was sent to Fliss's Mother, Minn, who has written to us to say that it gives her a good deal of pleasure to think that Fliss's friends thought so well of her.

Funny, I was thinking of her yesterday when the Air Amubulance in London landed in Regent's Park, being on the 16th floor I had a grandstand view..... she would have liked being up there.

A Good effort all round, and a fitting memory of a wonderful, witty, kind, gracious lady who will live on in the hearts of all that knew her, mine especially..If I might paraphrase
"if there is immortality, and an on-going existence here on Earth after death than it is in the memories of those we leave behind, and this may be Immortality, indeed."
