I just acquired on long term loan a Stella tenor guitar. The bridge is lifting a little and the neck is separating a little from the body. As the guitar only cost @$35 many years ago and I don't want to spend a lot of $$$, I think I can figure out a clamp (cramp) for the bridge and glue it back down. Ques: can I just spread the neck space a little, put some Elmer's in there and clamp or does the whole neck need to be taken off?

It probably would not cost as much as you think to have it repaired by a competent luthier.
There may be other damage too. Top braces, for instance, may need to be reglued as well. Why don't you get an estimate first, then decide?
