I'm looking for the gaelic lyrics to a song from Capercaillie - Secret People, called ORAN. Also some help with a song called CAPE BRETON SONG, from Capercaillie - Delirium. The song is described as too difficult to interpret since it has been passed on by oral tradition for so long, but if anyone has a clue about the words, please write to me. I'd be grateful for any help you can give me!!

Love, Jenny

The Cape Breton song is sung in Gaelic and English by Clary Croft on an LP from about 1973. No lyrics with the album though I can can't speak Gaelic so I can't be much help. It's a traditional Cape Breton song.

I'll ask on the Cape Breton Music list for you, as there are several gaelic speakers/singers there.
