Could anyone help me identify the band that performed this song?
It was in the early 80's , the chorus is very similar to

Mary Anne she's after me,
full of lobe she seems to be,
my mother says that it's plain to see,
that she wants me for her young man.

Father says if that be true
John my lad be thankful do
that there's one bigger fool,
in the world than you
and that's Mary Anne.

Joe, Thanks that's the one. The problem is I had it on a cassette of a radio program that Dave Burland used to do from Leeds, I've lost the tape & I can't remember the name of the Band.
