Genie & I have been having a little conversation via PM about the theme for the 2003 Mudcat calendar.

To explain I replied:

"I'm probably going to do a collage of related photos for each month, so the more the merrier. Any theme, or no theme, or even Art Thieme, will do (grin)"

Genie then asked what kind of costume she would need to be Art Thieme, and I told her:

Now that is a question and a half! It almost warrants its own thread. I'm sure that there is a humongous amount of ways to interpret Art Thieme. You could do an *art* theme I suppose, but that would be too simple. You could dress as a condom, in deference to his notorious condom thread.

To which Genie replied that she couldn't understand why dressing as a condom had anything to do with Art Thieme.

Just get yourself a Caterpillar cap and a flannel shirt, Genie -- and a paste-on beard -- you'll do!

But what is the THieme of Art? 'S a much deeper question. And don't look too closely lest Art end up in the eye of the beholder!!

Well, Amos, would that cap and shirt make me look like Art Thieme, or just like a condom? (Hard to figure that one.)

Now if I wanted to portray a condom in USE, I guess I could get an extra extra queen size pair of panty hose, double the legs, do the nekkid thaing again, and pull the doubled leg over my whole bod.

Nah! Some other catter's probly awreddy done that un! (Art Thieme, maybe?)
