Herself and Myself are spending a few days in North Devon near Great Torrington either side of next weekend. Although I expect our evenings will consist of good food & drink while our waterproofs steam in front of a log fire and we'll take a few CDs & cassettes to listen to, are there any music sessions (jazz & blues preferably) in the vicinity we shouldn't miss? I don't own a shaky egg , will leave the washboard & kazoo at home and Herself won't let me sing in public in this country, so I won't be a nuisance!

There's a lot of Jazz round the Bude area, may be worth looking on the Bude tourist info site, it's about three quarters of an hour away
Also Thursday evenings at the Joiner's Arms Bideford there is a Folk Club.
