Third Fridays, every month but July... This month Oct.17 the featured performer is Jud Caswell. Doors open at 7:00pm for a 75 minute open-mike first set (8 min. per performer). Sign up when the doors open; it fills fast! Jud C. at 9:00. Desserts & beverages available. $5/$3/kids free. Oct.11 at 7:30pm at the Chocolate Church in Bath (12 m. north of Brunswick): "Circle of Sound" an evening of Maine performers. Gerry Blodgett, Carter Ruff, Jud Caswell (super singer/songwriters), Kat Logan (one hell of a singer!), Marie Dufresne (traditional and modern), Pat Gardiner (storyteller/reciter of poems/singer). Wow! Circle is going to be great this year. Sign me up! Well, maybe not. I guess it would be a stretch to get there.

I think I'll get out my Jud Caswell CDs and give him another listen. Good stuff.
